Ignition unit for Canyon 500, 600.

This bike has the original AC-CDI unit (the unit is powered by a high-voltage coils in the alternator). Our unit for this bike is a Sparker DC-CDI (unit powered from +12V). This solution solves the two most common faults occurring ignition on this bike (defect high-voltage coil in alternator and ignition unit defect). On request it can be supplied as Sparker DC-CDI-P (programmable version). The unit is equipped with the same connectors as the original unit. You will only have to connect one more wire from ignition unit to +12V key switched.

Note !!!
At this bike will destroy the ignition unit that is not right main engine ground (thick wire from the negative terminal of the battery to the engine housing). Increase the resistance of the conductor or his contacts leads to the destruction of the unit when starting. Also completely disconnect (eg error at replacing the battery) leads to the destruction of the unit when starting.
Caution - this motorcycle has a separate grounding for harness (thin wire from the minus pole batteries in volume) and for engine (thick wire from the negative terminal of the battery to the engine housing). The engine ground must be connected at all times when starting!!!
